To all of our current and future customers, thank you for your past purchases and current support. Over the next several weeks we are going to take the unprecedented step of emailing and posting to Instagram weekly with updates about how current events might impact your table buying decisions. Be assured that we are doing everything in our power to maintain “smooth sailing” and prevent surprises. We anticipate a fantastic year once the daily news cycle moves on. Again, thank you!

Tariffs: While we are seeing upward pressure on our steel, aluminum and lumbar prices currently, increases have not been as large as one might expect. Overall, we feel there is a wait and see attitude right now, particularly as wholesale suppliers work through deliveries of existing stock. Because of this, our decision is to hold tight until at least the end of April before considering any of the increases as being permanent and requiring our attention to work them into table pricing. This means we will have NO PRICE INCREASES at least through the end of April 2025.
Tariffs Into Canada: We are watching the Canadian tariff situation on a daily basis. The harmonized code to import tables into Canada is 9402.90.00.90. This is the code for a medical examination table “other”. Right now the official Canadian tariff tracker shows no tariff for this code on importation. If you purchase a table(s) from us and are charged a tariff after reading this, we will share the tariff cost 50/50 with you.
Table Quotes: We understand that it takes time to collect information, make plans, arrange financing and get an office open. In the past we have honored quotes that were quite old. However, as of now we will only be guaranteeing quotes for 30 days after issuance. Hopefully by the beginning of May the picture will be clear on Tariffs and commodity pricing. If it is, we will announce going back to our old system of honoring quotes no matter their age.
Suppliers: One of the benefits of doing what you do for a long time is the formation of strong relationships with your suppliers. It has also been our policy to whenever possible have more than one supplier for each critical material in our production process. Right now we are experiencing NO shortages or supply issues. We have also NOT been advised by any of our suppliers of any anticipated shortages or supply disruptions.
International Shipping: We have had a strong relationship with DB Schenker for international shipping for some 15 years. Right now, there are delays in securing “economy” shipping space at the prices we have quoted for some table orders. This does NOT result in higher shipping prices for you; your quotes are honored. However, it does often result in shipments taking longer to reach you because your tables are held until they can be flown at the agreed upon price. International shipping is very busy right now as many businesses try to beat anticipated tariffs.
With regards to Puerto Rico, we are introducing a new shipping partner, Magic Transport. We have sent the first several shipments down with excellent results and at a price about $100 to $150 less than our previous prices. This is Ocean service, BUT they will deliver the tables directly to your office AND the boats leave at scheduled times. Service times are running less than 10 days from leaving our shop to your door.
To close, we want to assure our customers that due to our company being US based and our commitment to source US supplies whenever possible, we are only being moderately affected by all of the tariffs and uncertainty which is in the news. We will continue to update you weekly for now, and look forward to many more years supporting your practices and personal growth.
