Standard Deluxe Bench

*Price of the table will vary as the base cost starts at $945 and is customized to have only the features you need. Tables are shown in pictures with varied configurations.

Basic but beautifully functional, our Standard Deluxe Bench is sure to suit any practice.

Here are just a few of our tables noteworthy features:

  • Customize to fit any décor: Fourteen vinyl colors and four leg woodwork selections mean endless combinations. You're sure to find the perfect match for any office style! It’s not just about the appearance, though. Our drop table cushions use medical grade vinyl that is easy to disinfect and can easily handle steady office use.  Likewise, our wooden legs provide a solid base for all your adjusting needs that will last for years. The working weight of our Standard Deluxe Table is 750lbs (340kg).
  • Smooth and reliable drops: The drops in our chiropractic tables are crisp and fast. This is because we make them with HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), a self-lubricating plastic. This material works beautifully with the steel drop plungers and will not become grooved with heavy use unlike aluminum or steel blocks. In addition, the HDPE drop block deforms with the plunger as the drop falls. This keeps the drop running like new for many years.
  • Multiple drop options: As a table company started by a doctor for doctors, it’s important to us that we provide exactly what you need. Because of this, we set out to make our chiropractic drop tables customizable to you and your individual practice. Our Standard Deluxe Table comes with a lumbo/pelvic drop and is available with either handle activation or kick (foot) activation.

Table Body Dimensions: 70" x 22" (120lbs, 55kg). Weight may vary depending on the customization of features you choose.

Armrest Dimensions: 3½" x 12" and use 1½" firm foam.

Drop Design: our lumbo/pelvic drops have left-side tension and are available with either handle activation or kick (foot) activation. The drop fall is 7/8".

Tilting Headpiece: allows 20° forward flexion/30° extension with an open nose slot for patient comfort. The forward cervical upgrade has a cocking handle and right-side tension. Drop fall is 7/8".

Face Paper Cutter: uses standard 8½" rolls.

Cushion Construction: table cushions use 2½" firm foam for a supportive adjusting surface. Face cushions use 2½" contoured medium foam for patient comfort. All cushions are covered in high-quality Spirit Millennium vinyl. Easy to disinfect and great for medical equipment.

Working Weight of Table: 750lbs (340kg).

FAQ

Have a question not answered below? Contact us and we will be happy to help!

How do you pick a table height? The rule of thumb is to measure from the floor to the top of your patella. That measurement provides the most mechanical advantage for doing side posture adjusting. We suggest adding 1 inch to that number if you will be doing a lot of side posture and 2 inches if you will primarily be using the drop to adjust the patient's low back and pelvis.

*For the first six months after delivery of your new stationary table, Sun Chiro Table, at no expense to you, will exchange the legs initially supplied with a set that will make the table a different height. No leg exchange, however, is offered on our skateboard woodwork. For tables with oak legs, you will be required to provide a credit card to keep on file until you have returned the original legs with the supplied pre-paid return label. If oak legs are not returned within 30 days of arrival, your card on file will be charged the total purchase price of $200 per set.

Do the wooden tables squeak? No, if they do, please get in touch with us to troubleshoot the sound you are hearing. They do not squeak as the frames are “glued and screwed” Once the glue is cured, the structure is essentially one solid piece. Every joint where there is wood-to-wood contact is glued. The other area of concern, the leg attachment points, are all secured using 5/16 Hex bolts into t-nuts embedded in the table's frame. This allows the legs to be tightened as necessary to remove movement during use.

What is working weight? Is that the weight of the patient? Working weight is defined as the weight of the patient AND the Doctor at thrust.

How do you disinfect or clean the tables between patients? We suggest using a solution of 2% ordinary household bleach to water for between patient and daily cleaning. However, Uniroyal, the manufacturer of Naugahyde, indicates that for cleaning during the COVID pandemic, a solution of 10% household bleach to water is used. We caution that using a bleach solution of this concentration requires rinsing the table with a plain water spray after cleaning to remove all bleach residue. Doing this prevents the staining of the patient's clothes during treatment. Here is a link to the official cleaning guide from the manufacturer. Click here for the cleaning guide.

Can you explain the difference between the default firm foam and the optional medium foam? Our firm foam is a 1.5-inch layer of 50lb compression foam which is comfortable for your patient to lie on over a 1-inch layer of 120lb extra firm foam on the bottom. It's like the cushion has an anterior board built-in. Your patient can lie prone on it comfortably, but you will not have any trouble bringing them to tension and getting a good adjustment. The medium foam is a solid piece of the 50 lb compression foam. It is ideal for doctors doing lower force techniques or where the patient will lie either prone or supine on the table for periods longer than 30 minutes while getting treatment.

How are the drops on your tables as they compare to other table manufacturers? Answer: We think that our drops are crisp and fast. The drop blocks are manufactured out of HDPE(High Density Polyethylene) which is a self lubricating plastic. This material works well with the steel drop plungers and does not become grooved with heavy use like aluminum or steel blocks but rather deforms with the plunger as the drop falls. This keeps the drops running like new for many years.

How heavy of a patient are your drops designed to work with? Answer: Our drops are designed to work with patient's up to 500lbs. If they do not work with patients of this weight please contact us to get a replacement drop. If your practice will be mostly large patients over 250 lbs, then let us know that and we can build your drops up with springs ideal for larger patients. These springs larger patients do NOT increase the capacity of the drop, rather they make the tension adjustment range more sensitive at the larger end of the scale rather than at the average range of the scale which is more like
125-250 lbs.
