*Price of the table will vary as the base cost starts at $2,785.00 and is customized to have only the features you need. SHIPPING WILL BE CHARGED AFTER PURCHASE; TABLE MUSH SHIP FREIGHT.

If you're looking for a premium table, look no further than our Luxe Table. This specially crafted table caters to those looking for the ultimate in sophistication and convenience. Featuring our kick-activated upper thoracic drop, this table also includes the following as standard with the base table:

  • Forward Cervical Drop FLEX/EXT headpiece
  • Upper thoracic Kick Drop
  • Thoraco/lumbar Kick Drop
  • Lumbo/pelvic kick drop
  • Recessed Controls
  • Foot extension

That's four drops included, in addition to our ever popular recessed controls for doctor comfort and foot extension for treatment flexibility.

In addition, as with all our tables, the Luxe Table is available in fourteen vinyl colors and five leg woodwork selections for an endless variety of appearance options.

The drops are made with HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), a self-lubricating plastic. This material works beautifully with the steel drop plungers and will not become grooved with heavy use unlike aluminum or steel blocks. In addition, the HDPE drop block deforms with the plunger as the drop falls. This keeps the drop running like new for many years.

And finally, the Luxe table also has the following, optional upgrades at an additional cost:

  • High bolster on the foot extension
  • Lumbar Prop and Drop
  • Toggle Drop/Elevation upgrade to the headpiece.

Please be aware that due to the complexity of this table, it MUST be shipped fully assembled freight. Shipping costs will be charged AFTER purchase, after consultation with Dr. Dennis on your delivery address. If you would like a shipping estimate before purchase, please email Dr. Dennis at sales@sunchirotable.com with the number of tables you wish to purchase, and your commercial delivery address.

Important: purchasing a Luxe table signifies that you have read and agreed to the shipping methods, as well as paying the shipping costs before the table ships, as described below.

Luxe Tables will be shipped fully assembled and ready to adjust patients.

SHIPPING LEAD TIME: Your week of shipment is issued after the order is placed due to lead times varying, usually 6-8 weeks after purchase. If you need a table by a specific date, be sure to reach out to us before placing an order to ensure we can have the table arrive by the time you need it.

SHIPPING METHOD USED: The method used to ship Luxe Tables is LTL (Less than truckload) lift gate freight. This means that a large semi will come to your place of business and unload the table as close as possible to your door as determined by the truck’s driver. It is your responsibility to get the table from where it is unloaded into your office. The driver will not help you.

Whenever possible we will request that the LTL freight carrier call you prior to delivery to arrange an “appointment” time. PLEASE NOTE that these appointments are really delivery windows of up to four hours.

SHIPPING COSTS: When purchasing a Luxe table you do NOT pay the shipping at time of order placement. Instead, you will pay the shipping fee 3 days prior to shipment once a final LTL shipping estimate has been obtained. LTL shipping estimates are normally only valid for one week. The breakdown of the shipping expense is as follows:

1. LTL Lift gate freight to your place of business (must be a commercial address).  We provide a copy of the actual quote/invoice. You pay true cost.

2. A $100.00 per table crating fee.

We know that our customers do not want any surprises when it comes time to ship their tables.  We are very happy to get a quote for shipping prior to purchase and then lock that amount in +/-10% so you can purchase with confidence.  To do this please contact us at sales@sunchirotable.com and include your name, commercial address and the number of tables that you will be shipping.

UNPACKING THE TABLE: The table will come packaged on a crate consisting of a wooden platform covered with a cardboard top. The table will be fastened to the wooden base with two or more banding straps. There may also be two or more-leg hold downs fastened with Phillip’s head screws. You will need to cut these straps with a heavy-duty pair of scissors or wire cutters and remove any leg hold downs. You can then simply lift the table from the wooden platform. The table will weigh between 120 and 150 lbs. Two people can easily carry and maneuver it into your office and through standard 30-inch doors.

PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to dispose of the table's crate and packaging after removing it. For the top of the crate which is made of cardboard it is a simple matter. However, the wooden platform is 70x30x6 and made of plywood and dimensional lumber. To fit into standard dumpsters at most businesses you will need to have some type of saw to cut the platform into smaller pieces for disposal.

DOCTORS IN MULTI-STORY BUILDINGS: please note you will need to get your table from ground level to your office. This is NOT difficult; it just requires some planning. Prior to the arrival of your table, locate your building’s elevator. Even if it does not have a freight elevator, the tables will easily fit into normal passenger elevators. Get a piece of ¾ plywood cut to the dimensions of 55x25. Affix to the four corners caster wheels easily obtained at most big box stores. Note that these wheels come in two types. Either affix four wheels that can rotate 360 degrees or two wheels that can rotate 360 degrees and two that are fixed in one direction. We find that the combination of two 360 and two fixed make for a rolling platform that is easier to steer. Load your table onto your plywood caster cart and push it to your office.

SHIPPING DAMAGE: When your table(s) arrive you must visually inspect the crates. If there is damage to the packaging you must decide if the table inside is or is not damaged. If you feel there is damage you must REFUSE delivery. The table will be returned to us and we will inspect it for damage and file a claim with the carrier. You will not have to participate in this process other than providing a statement of what you have seen and perhaps pictures if you have them. If the table was damaged after our inspection, we will fabricate a replacement as quickly as possible and ship it to you. You will not have to wait until the end of the claims process with the transportation provider to get your new table.

Elevation Headpiece

Our elevation headpieces feature both a forward cervical drop and a toggle drop. Also included is our removable toggle block that, when used, gives the doctor a hard contact point for toggling.

Recessed Controls

Our recessed controls are a great option if you plan on doing lots of diversified and feel that the tension knobs might be in your way. Our tension controls will completely recess underneath the cushion for doctor comfort with this upgrade.

Prop and Drop

When installed on a lumbo/pelvic cushion, the cushion can elevate up to 6 inches and creates the space in front of it for a large abdomen like on a pregnant patient. It is an alternative to an abdominal breakaway.

Foot Extension

Our optional foot extension upgrade comes standard with a table-height bolster that when extend increases the table's length to 78". A secondary, higher bolster is also available to provide even more options for patient positioning. Because we cover both bottoms in the non-slip, they can be used on the table surface for performing leg checks and taking tension off the hamstrings.

FAQ

Have a question not answered below? Contact us and we will be happy to help!

How do you pick a table height? The rule of thumb is to measure from the floor to the top of your patella. That measurement provides the most mechanical advantage for doing side posture adjusting. We suggest adding 1 inch to that number if you will be doing a lot of side posture and 2 inches if you will primarily be using the drop to adjust the patient's low back and pelvis. For more information, please read our journal article here.

FOR NEWLY PURCHASED TABLES: We offer a discount on replacement legs for up to 30 days after table delivery if you prefer a different height. Our tables are available in any height from 18” to 26”.

For 30 days from date of table delivery you may purchase a new set of legs at a discounted price of $100 for one set oak legs, or $50 for one set pine legs.  These prices reflect a 50% savings off our normal prices of $200/oak legs or $100/pine legs.

Do the wooden tables squeak? If they do, don't hesitate to contact us to troubleshoot the sound you are hearing. They are designed not to squeak as the frames are "glued and screwed" Once the glue cures, the table frame is essentially one solid piece. Every joint where there is wood-to-wood contact is glued. The other area of concern, the leg attachment points, are secured using 5/16 Hex bolts into t-nuts embedded in the table frame, allowing the legs to be tightened as necessary to remove movement during use.

What is working weight? Is that the weight of the patient? Working weight is defined as the weight of the patient AND the Doctor at thrust.

What are the two cushions I see with the foot extension on the Prestige tables? The foot extension on our Prestige tables uses a removable bolster system. These cushions are covered on the bottom with a non-slip material to be used on the surface of the main table body for patient positioning. Their purpose is to take the tension off the patient's hamstrings while performing a leg check.

How do you disinfect or clean the tables between patients? We suggest using a solution of 2% common household bleach to water for between patient and daily cleaning. However, Uniroyal, the manufacturer of Naugahyde, suggests that for cleaning during the COVID pandemic that a solution of 10% household bleach to water be used. We caution that using a bleach solution of this concentration requires you to rinse the table with a spray of plain water after cleaning to remove all bleach residue. This will prevent the staining of patients clothes during treatment. Here is a link to the official cleaning guide from the manufacture themselves. Click here for the cleaning guide

Can you explain the difference between the default firm foam and the optional medium foam? Our firm foam is actually a 1.5 inch layer of 50lb compression foam which is comfortable for your patient to lie on over a 1 inch layer of 120lb extra firm foam on the bottom. It's like the cushion has an anterior board built in. Your patient can lie prone on it comfortably but you will not have any trouble bringing them to tension and getting a good adjustment. The medium foam is a solid piece of the 50 lb compression foam. It is ideal for doctors doing lower force techniques or where the patient will lie either prone or supine on the table for periods longer than 30 minutes while getting treatment.

How are the drops on your tables as they compare to other table manufacturers? We think that our drops are crisp and fast. The drop blocks are manufactured out of HDPE(High Density Polyethylene) which is a self lubricating plastic. This material works well with the steel drop plungers and does not become grooved with heavy use like aluminum or steel blocks but rather deforms with the plunger as the drop falls. This keeps the drops running like new for many years.

How heavy of a patient are your drops designed to work with? Our drops are designed to work with patient's up to 500lbs. If they do not work with patients of this weight please contact us to get a replacement drop. If your practice will be mostly large patients over 250 lbs, then let us know that and we can build your drops up with springs ideal for larger patients. These springs larger patients do NOT increase the capacity of the drop, rather they make the tension adjustment range more sensitive at the larger end of the scale rather than at the average range of the scale which is more like
125-250 lbs.

What is a “Prop and Drop”? A prop and drop means that a drop cushion can be elevated AND the drop remains fully function throughout the elevated range. When installed on a lumbo/pelvic cushion, the cushion can elevate up to 6 inches and creates the space in front of it for a large abdomen like on a pregnant patient. It is an alternative to an abdominal breakaway.

What's the difference between the full length thoracic drop and the upper thoracic and thoraco/lumbar drops? It's really quite simple. The upper thoracic handle activated drop falls at the front and is effective from C7/T1 down to about T9/T10 and then the thoraco/lumbar kick drop picks up around T10 and is effective through the lumbars. When you add the lumbo/pelvic kick drop to these two drops you have 26 inches of active drop surface. This is a traditional Thompson style setup where you are wanting to mostly do drop work or at least have a drop located here it would augment your adjustment anywhere you would choose to adjust. On the other hand the full length thoracic kick drop is hinged behind the headpiece and falls at the rear in front of the lumbo/pelvic kick drop. The two cocking pedals are close together so that they will allow you to cock both pieces at the same time. It is ideal for full spine dropping, augmenting a side posture adjustment with a drops, and for adjusting the lumbars on smaller patients who would normally have to be moved down on the table to reach the lumbo/pelvic cushion because of their height. It is technically a thoraco/lumbar drop and adds very little energy to your adjustment above about T8.
